Wireless multimedia networks (WMN) allow people to access rich multimedia content anytime, anywhere, using different access networks and different computing devices. It is anticipated that wireless multimedia services (WMS) will change the way we operate and interact with the world with the development of numerous interesting wireless multimedia applications. The new possibilities of wireless multimedia computing pose several research challenges. One of the challenges is security issue in WMN. Therefore, in WMNs, not only novel techniques, algorithms, architectures and experiences regarding multimedia applications but also security services should be considered. This special issue will focus on the challenges and issues related to wireless multimedia networks and the security services. Thus, it aims high-quality original unpublished research articles that describe state-of-the-art approaches and solutions for the wireless multimedia networks and their security.

- Network forensics and fraud detection for WMS
